Inspirational Stories for the Holidays

The Secret Santa Who Hands out $100. Bills to strangers…

It’s like finding money in a jacket you haven’t worn for a while – but better. An anonymous businessman from Kansas City has created his own special holiday cheer for the past 12 years. He does this by handing out cash to those “who look as though they could use a little boost”.

With the assistance of local police officers, he goes to a few cities and hands out money - anywhere between $100,000 and $200,000 each holiday season. This is in the form of $100 bills. His plan is to look for folks who have sadness on their faces because they are the ones he wants to “give hope that their life can change.”

In his words: “Our mission as humans is to do random acts of kindness. Kindness is the bridge between all people.” We don’t know who he is or where he’ll show up next, so be alert and ready for a surprise visit from the real secret Santa.

The Teen Who Couponed His Way Into Buying $1,000 Worth of Food for the Poor on Christmas Eve

Savvy sixteen-year-old Jordan Cox has a talent for extreme couponing. He uses this skill to help his struggling mom get by.

According to the Telegraph, Jordan decided to use his unique talent to help families in need. Thus he collected hundreds of coupons and purchased about $935 worth of groceries for less than a penny. He then donated all of it to Doorstep, a nonprofit that disperses food to disadvantaged families.

Jordan said, “I decided I wanted to help as many people as I can, and to also show that it’s possible to shop very cheaply, if you know how.”

Yay to Jordan and to the Secret Santa business man who hands out cash!!!!!
